Flexadin is a feeding supplement that helps to support joints and the surrounding cartilage in dogs and cats by using a unique combination of four active ingredients: Glucosamine, Chondroitin, Manganese and Devils Claw.
Glucosamine is an amino sugar that creates and stimulates new cartilage growth. It also supports the release of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are made from glucose by the cartilage cells.
Chondroitin attaches itself to collagen for tensile strength and control of water content. It attracts fluid to the cartilage molecules which is vital as it helps to nourish and lubricate joints, as well as absorbing shock.
Manganese is a vital co-factor for GAG and collagen synthesis. It aids the cross-linking of collagen fibres, which helps retain and support the tensile strength and flexibility of the fibres.
Flexadin also contains Devil's Claw. Devils Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is a natural ingredient used for its pain-relieving properties.
Using Flexadin in conjunction with any anti-inflammatory medications (such as Rimadyl, Previcox, Metacam etc.) may also reduce the dosage of the medication that your pet requires over time as the Flexadin helps build up the strength of the joint and surrounding cartilage over time.

Flexadin tablets may be given directly to the dog or cat or in its food.
Loading dose (first 4-6 weeks)
Under 5kg - a tablet daily
5-10kg - 1 tablet daily
10-20kg - 2 tablets daily
20-20kg - 3 tablets daily
Over 40kgs - 4 tablets daily
Maintenance dose
Under 10kg - a tablet daily
10-20kg - 1 tablet daily
20-20kg - 1-1 tablets daily
